Karunanidhi to flag off Chennai-Mangalore Train tomorrow

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi would flag off the Chennai-Mangalore Superfast Express here on Tuesday.

The train, which will run thrice a week, would leave Chennai Central on Tuesday evening, an official press release here said.

The Chief Minister would also flag off Jammu Tawi-Tirunelveli Bi-weekly Express (Extended from Madurai), Tirunelveli - Bilaspur Weekly Express and Kanyakumari-Rameswaram tri-weekly express through video-conference, it said.

Union Textile Minister Dayanidhi Maran, Union State Minister for Railways E Ahamed and top government officials are expected to participate in the event, the release added.
