Jaipur Metro project to be completed in time, says Gehlot

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has asked officials of the Jaipur Metro Rail Project to ensure its completion within the stipulated time period.

Chairing a high-level meeting here to expedite the project, Mr. Gehlot asked to explore mobilisation of financial resources for the project.

The project should be completed within the stipulated time frame with strong technical supervision, best available skill and by using modernised engineering, he said.

Various financial aspects of the project were also discussed in the meeting.

Mr. Gehlot also directed to constitute a technical-core committee consisting of management, finance, law and technical experts which would help to take a spot decision.

The meeting was attended by State Home Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Chief Secretary T. Srinivasan, Principal Secretary Finance C. K. Methew, Principal Secretary to the CM Srimat Pandey among others.
