“We are looking at wedding onboard possibilities. We have two enquiries from Delhi and one of them is confirmed,” said a top official of Louis Cruises India, which last week launched here its cruise liner ‘M V Aquamarine’ for operations between India-Maldives-Colombo.
About 500 guests were likely attend the wedding and the seven-deck ship has spacious halls with modern facilities. The reception would also take place onboard the liner, company Managing Director Oneil Khosa told reporters on Sunday.
“Similarly there are enquires for three more weddings which are yet to be confirmed and that is going to be a big plus for the wedding segment,” Mr. Khosa said.
Besides, there were enquiries from honeymooners from Maldives and Colombo, he said.
Mr. Khosa said the film shooting was also be a possibility onboard “M V Aquamarine”. ‘We will have some film shooting shortly as we have some enquiries,’ he said.
“Bollywood films and some producers from South Indian film industry are also preparing for shoot on the cruise liner,” Mr. Khosa said but did not elaborate.
Some movie personalities had already been in touch with the company to know about the facilities available.
