It's the era where everyone seeks to indulge in an environment that provides them with latest styles and trends in fitness and beauty.

I am actually quite a fitness freak myself. Being fit matters a lot to me. I am really happy I take good care of my body.

I am into martial arts. I practice with a trainer that comes to my place. I also took up dance classes. I cycle a lot. I go to the gym about three times a week. I am not such a gym freak — in the sense that I don't like or want to have bulging muscles. I would go for the lean look, any day. In fact, people have often wondered how I manage to look so thin. Most of it is genetic, but then I never stop exercising either. I don't drink and smoke. They are major vices which can harm one's body inexplicably.

As for me, ‘Zen' is the word that changed the way I looked at fitness forever. I believe lifestyle is all about ‘being comfortable', feeling comfortable with what you are. Whereas style is all about ‘expressing oneself', the way one genuinely feels. I find Lara, Sanjay Dutt and Hrithik Roshan living very healthy lifestyles.

Home food

As far as food goes, I am vegetarian. No meat and fish for me, just maybe eggs at times. Fruits and vegetables form a major part of my diet. I prefer ghar ka khaana' to anything else.

I love working out in the mornings. I stay energetic all day, and, best of all, I don't have to think about exercise once I am at work.

I often do some stretching exercise in the garden of my building as I wait for my kickboxing instructor. I am also taking classes in flying an airplane at Sagar, MP, from where I received my skydiving qualification.

Fitness should be an integral part of every human being's life, regardless of whether one is an actor or a model. Any form of exercise is good and is sure to help. I would say no one should ever ignore his/her body. Health is wealth. No two ways about it! In the world of competition where everyone wants to be the best, taking care of your own self becomes a priority.
